Nebraska High School Basketball - Elkhorn Valley fells Creighton

The Elkhorn Valley Falcons basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Creighton Bulldogs to 46 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now have a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Boyd County for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Elkhorn Valley will confront a Spartans team coming off a 62-47 non-league loss to West Holt (Atkinson, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Creighton falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Mary's (O'Neill, NE) to confront the Cardinals in a D2 District 5 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 11-4. St. Mary's won 75-18 in their recent non-league game against Winside (Winside, NE)
