Illinois High School Basketball - MacArthur holds off Dunlap
January 24, 2025: Dunlap, IL 61525 In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting MacArthur Generals basketball team scored a close 63-59 triumph over the Dunlap Eagles.
The Generals (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 19-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln Park nipped Phillips (Chicago, IL), 76-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles confront the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini contest, on Saturday, January 25. Dunlap will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 8-10 record after their 61-53 non-league loss to Richwoods (Peoria, IL).
