Texas High School Basketball - Whitewright fells Honey Grove
January 24, 2025: Whitewright, TX 75491 The Whitewright Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Honey Grove Warriors to 46 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now have a 23-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sam Rayburn for a 2A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 28. Whitewright will confront a Rebels team coming off a 52-29 league win over Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 20-4.
With the loss, Honey Grove falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to confront the Tomcats in a 2A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Tomcats go into the game with a record of 15-10. Tom Bean won 52-22 in their recent league game against Trenton (Trenton, TX)
