Kansas High School Basketball - Lakeside fells Thunder Ridge
January 24, 2025: Kensington, KS 66951 The Lakeside Knights basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Thunder Ridge Longhorns to 37 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now have a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Lincoln for a Northern Plains game on Tuesday, January 28. Lakeside will confront a Leopards team coming off a 59-43 non-league loss to St. John's/Tipton Catholic (Beloit, KS). The Leopards record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Thunder Ridge falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Pike Valley (Scandia, KS) to confront the Panthers in a Northern Plains game on Tuesday, January 28. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 5-8. Pike Valley won 45-44 in their recent non-league game against Rock Hills (Mankato, KS)
