Florida High School Basketball - Trinity Prep can't hold off Lyman

Lyman Greyhounds (Longwood, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Trinity Prep Saints (Winter Park, FL), 59-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lyman upgrades its record to 6-15 on the year. The Greyhounds host Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL) to face the Rams in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Rams enter the match with a record of 7-13. Orangewood Christian lost 61-51 in their recent non-league match against Mount Dora (Mount Dora, FL)

The Saints now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Charter for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Trinity Prep will face a Eagles squad coming off a 84-68 non-league win over Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.
