Kansas High School Basketball - McPherson holds off Shawnee Mission East
January 24, 2025: McPherson, KS 67460 The McPherson Bullpups basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Shawnee Mission East Lancers to 64 in the Bullpups non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bullpups now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Blue Valley West for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. McPherson will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 53-42 non-league win over Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Shawnee Mission East falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Link Academy (Branson, MO) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Lions go into the game with a record of 14-4. Link Academy won 67-55 in their recent non-league game against Oak Ridge (Orlando, FL)
