Maryland High School Basketball - Oak Hill Academy holds off Mt. Zion Prep Academy
January 24, 2025: Lanham, MD 20706 The Oak Hill Academy Warriors basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors to 69 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Oak Hill Academy will confront a Barons team coming off a 82-65 non-league win over St. Michael the Archangel (Fredericksburg, VA). The Barons record now stands at 21-0.
With the loss, Mt. Zion Prep Academy falls to 16-3 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Huntington Expression Prep (Huntington, WV) to confront the Kings in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Kings go into the game with a record of 7-5. Huntington Expression Prep won 72-65 in their recent non-league game against Lutheran East (Cleveland Heights, OH)
