The Peachtree Academy Panthers (Covington, GA) basketball edged the visiting The Forest School Phoenix (Fayetteville, GA), 45-39 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Alleluia Community for a GAPPS - I-A Region 3 bout on Monday, January 27.

With the loss, The Forest School falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Phoenix travel to CrossPointe Christian Academy (Williamson, GA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 1-10.
