California High School Basketball - Polytechnic toppled by Providence
January 24, 2025: Pasadena, CA 91106 Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 60-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Providence upgrades its record to 9-10 on the year. The Pioneers host Flintridge Prep (La Canada, CA) to face the Wolves in a Prep match on Tuesday, January 28. The Wolves enter the match with a record of 12-6. Flintridge Prep won 63-45 in their recent league match against Chadwick (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA)
The Panthers now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bosco Tech for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. Polytechnic will face a Tigers squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
