Illinois High School Basketball - Sherrard nips Rockridge
January 24, 2025: Taylor Ridge, IL 61284 In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sherrard Tigers basketball team scored a close 40-39 triumph over the Rockridge Rockets.
The Tigers (19-2) will now prepare for their contest against Orion (Orion, IL). The Chargers go into the Three Rivers - West contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, Orion nipped ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL), 57-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Riverdale Rams (Port Byron, IL) in a Three Rivers - West contest, on Friday, January 31. Rockridge will attempt to better on its 15-7 season record.
