Utah High School Basketball - Dixie can't hold off Hurricane
January 24, 2025: St. George, UT 84770 Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT), 83-77 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hurricane advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Tigers host Desert Hills (St. George, UT) to face the Thunder in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 2-3.
The Flyers now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crimson Cliffs for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 28. Dixie will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 51-25 non-league win over Snow Canyon (St. George, UT). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-0.
