Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Somerset can't hold off Bedford
January 24, 2025: Somerset, PA 15501 Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), 50-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Bedford moves its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Bisons travel to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands bout on Monday, January 27. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Central Cambria won 62-53 in their recent league bout against Somerset (Somerset, PA)
With the loss, Somerset falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to play the Lions in a Laurel Highlands bout on Monday, January 27. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-16. Chestnut Ridge lost 69-45 in their recent league bout against Forest Hills (Sidman, PA)
