Grace Prep Lions (Arlington, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Fort Worth Christian Cardinals (North Richland Hills, TX), 49-43 in a league match.

With the victory, Grace Prep advances its record to 8-11 on the year. The Lions host Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX) to face the Lions in a TAPPS 5A District 1 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the match with a record of 24-6. Coram Deo Academy lost 37-25 in their recent league match against Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX)
