Missouri High School Basketball - Lafayette nips Nevada
January 24, 2025: Wildwood, MO 63011 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Lafayette Lancers basketball team scored a close 44-40 triumph over the Nevada Tigers.
The Lancers (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Blue Springs was tipped by Blue Valley Southwest (Overland Park, KS), 44-34, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the McDonald County Mustangs (Anderson, MO) in a Big 8 contest, on Monday, January 27. Nevada will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 66-27 non-league win over Neosho (Neosho, MO).
