In Friday's league contest, the visiting Middleburgh Knights basketball team scored a good 42-29 triumph over the Schoharie Storm.

The Knights (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville (St. Johnsville, NY). The Wolves go into the Section 2 Western contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville topped Galway (Galway, NY), 59-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Storm battle the Gilboa-Conesville Central Wildcats (Gilboa, NY) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Schoharie will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record.
