In Friday's league contest, the visiting Shaktoolik Wolverines basketball team scored a good 56-42 win over the Shishmaref Northern Lights.

The Wolverines (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Shishmaref (Shishmaref, AK). The Northern Lights come into the 1A Bering Sea contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Shishmaref dropped by Brevig Mission (Brevig Mission, AK), 48-32, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Northern Lights battle the Shaktoolik Wolverines (Shaktoolik, AK) in a 1A Bering Sea contest, on Saturday, January 25.
