In Friday's league contest, the host Mesquite Wildcats basketball team scored a big 52-23 triumph over the Cactus Shadows Falcons.

The Wildcats (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ). The Sabercats come into the challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Saguaro was routed by Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ), 28-26, in a league challenge.
