January 24, 2025: La Joya, TX 78574 Palmview Lobos (La Joya, TX) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Palmview advances its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Lobos travel to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX) to clash with the Patriots in a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Friday, January 31. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 7-4.
The Rattlers now have a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Martin for a 5A Region 4 District 30 test on Tuesday, January 28. Rio Grande City will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 league win over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.
