January 24, 2025: White Lake, MI 48383 Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) backers exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), 5-1 in a non-league game.
With the win, Lakeland moves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Petoskey (Petoskey, MI) to clash with the Northmen in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Northmen enter the game with a record of 12-3. Petoskey won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Alpena (Alpena, MI)
The Hornets now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Huron for a Michigan Metro game on Friday, January 31. Saline will clash with a River Rats squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Okemos (Okemos, MI). The River Rats record now stands at 5-12.
