In Saturday's non-league test, the Massena Raiders (Massena, NY) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Plattsburgh Hornets (Plattsburgh, NY), by a score of 74-65.

Next, the Raiders play the Franklin Academy Huskies (Malone, NY) in a Section 10 Central bout, on Thursday, January 29. Massena will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 61-55 league loss to Ogdensburg Free Academy (Ogdensburg, NY).

With the loss, Plattsburgh falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Peru (Peru, NY) to play the Nighthawks in a Section 7 Champlain Valley I bout on Tuesday, January 27.
