January 25, 2022: Lafayette, LA 70501 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA) and the host John Paul the Great Academy Guardians (Lafayette, LA), saw Berchmans Academy's basketball squad overcome John Paul the Great Academy by a tally of 35-21.
With the victory, Berchmans Academy improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to NELA Christian Homeschool (Monroe, LA) to confront the Flame in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 27. The Flame come into the challenge with a record of 3-16. NELA Christian Homeschool lost 69-18 in their recent league challenge against Word of God Academy (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Guardians confront the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles (Lake Charles, LA) in a Christian Educators of Louisiana - South challenge, on Thursday, January 27. John Paul the Great Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 51-43 league win over Christian Academy of Louisiana (Addis, LA).
