The Central Carolina Prep Defenders basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Chatham HomeSchool Thunder to 55 in the Defenders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Defenders now sport a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Positive Day School for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 27. Central Carolina Prep will battle a Panthers team coming off a 77-49 non-league win over College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 6-2.
The Thunder (9-13) will now prepare for their contest against South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, South Guilford HomeSchool was routed by South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC), 58-42, in a league contest.
