Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Cocalico holds off Donegal
January 25, 2022: Mt. Joy, PA 17552 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA) and the host Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA), saw Cocalico's basketball squad hold off Donegal by a tally of 62-60.
With the victory, Cocalico improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Garden Spot (New Holland, PA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 28. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Garden Spot won 42-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Solanco (Quarryville, PA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Eastern Lebanon County Raiders (Myerstown, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Donegal will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 69-61 league loss to Octorara Area (Atglen, PA).
