Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Springdale winner over Cornell
January 25, 2022: Springdale, PA 15144 The Springdale Dynamos (Springdale, PA) basketball felled the visiting Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA), 71-51 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Dynamos (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 4-9 record. In their last test, Apollo Ridge was beaten by Steel Valley (Munhall, PA), 66-32, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Union Area for a WPIAL 1A 1 test on Friday, January 28. Cornell will encounter a Scotties squad coming off a 68-22 non-league win over Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 14-2.
