January 25, 2022: Virginia City, NV 89440 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) and the visiting Excel Christian Warriors (Sparks, NV), saw Virginia City's basketball squad wallop Excel Christian by a tally of 67-22.
With the victory, Virginia City improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Muckers travel to Smith Valley (Smith, NV) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A Western challenge on Friday, January 28. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Smith Valley won 46-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Oasis Academy (Fallon, NV)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Oasis Academy Bighorns (Fallon, NV) in a 1A Western challenge, on Friday, January 28. Excel Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Bighorns come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 69-55 league loss to Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV).
