Michigan High School Basketball - University Liggett overwhelms Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit
January 25, 2022: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) and the visiting Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), saw University Liggett's basketball squad wallop Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit by a count of 94-31.
With the victory, University Liggett upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Our Lady of the Lakes (Waterford, MI) to play the Lakers in a Catholic Intersectional I challenge on Friday, January 28. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Our Lady of the Lakes lost 51-21 in their recent league challenge against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Detroit Cristo Rey WOLVES (Detroit, MI) in a Catholic Intersectional II challenge, on Tuesday, February 1. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
