Georgia High School Basketball - Galloway fells Mount Vernon

Galloway Scots (Atlanta, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mount Vernon Mustangs (Atlanta, GA), 63-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Galloway upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Scots travel to Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA) to clash with the Lions in a A Private Region 5 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 8-12.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Wesleyan Wolves (Norcross, GA) in a A Private Region 5 bout, on Friday, January 28. Mount Vernon will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 7-14 record after their 47-46 league loss to Hebron Christian Academy (Dacula, GA).
