In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Mt. Olive Wildcats basketball team scored a good 53-38 triumph over the Tri-City Tornadoes.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the First Baptist Academy (O'Fallon, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 28. Mt. Olive will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record.

With the defeat, Tri-City moves to 7-8 on the year. The Tornadoes host South County (Franklin, IL) to meet the Vipers in a MSM match on Friday, February 4. The Vipers enter the match with a record of 6-14.
