January 25, 2022: Talladega, AL 35160 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Oxford Yellow Jackets (Oxford, AL) and the host Talladega Tigers (Talladega, AL), saw Oxford's basketball squad overcome Talladega by a tally of 64-52.
With the victory, Oxford improves its record to 15-11 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets travel to Southside (Gadsden, AL) to confront the Panthers in a 6A Area 13 challenge on Friday, January 28. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-13.
Next up, the Tigers confront the Central of Clay County Volunteers (Lineville, AL) in a 5A Area 8 challenge, on Friday, January 28. Talladega will attempt to improve on its 10-10 season record.
