South Dakota High School Basketball - West Central nips Vermillion
January 25, 2022: Hartford, SD 57033 West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD), 62-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Central upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Parkston (Parkston, SD) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 29. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Parkston lost 60-56 in their recent non-league bout against Lennox (Lennox, SD)
Next up, the Tanagers play the Dell Rapids Quarriers (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 27. Vermillion will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Quarriers come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 62-57 non-league win over Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
