The Huron Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Monroeville Eagles to 31 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Clinton for a Sandusky Bay - Bay contest on Friday, January 28. Huron will battle a Redskins team coming off a 32-29 non-league loss to Clyde (Clyde, OH). The Redskins record now stands at 5-10.

The Eagles (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Cougars come into the Firelands contest with a 9-3 record.
