January 25, 2022: Humphrey, NE 68642 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Francis Flyers (Humphrey, NE) and the visiting St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE), saw St. Francis's basketball squad wallop St. Edward by a tally of 54-7.
With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Flyers host Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 29. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-9. Lutheran-Northeast won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against Fullerton (Fullerton, NE)
Next up, the Beavers confront the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades (Chambers, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 27. St. Edward will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Renegades come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 60-39 non-league loss to Niobrara/Verdigre (Niobrara, NE).
