Utah High School Basketball - Grand County knocked off by Carbon

January 25, 2023: Price, UT 84501

The Carbon Dinos basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Grand County Red Devils to 49 in the Dinos league triumph on Wednesday.

The Dinos now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manti for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Carbon will battle a Templars team coming off a 69-60 league win over Juab (Nephi, UT). The Templars record now stands at 15-2.

The Red Devils (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Emery (Castle Dale, UT). The Spartans enter the 3A Region 12 contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Emery ran past Richfield (Richfield, UT), 68-63, in a league contest.
