Fort Bend Elkins Knights (Missouri City, TX) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX), 65-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Fort Bend Elkins upgrades its record to 15-9 on the season. The Knights travel to Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX) to play the Broncos in a 6A Region III District 20 bout on Saturday, January 28. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 12-11. Fort Bend Bush won 46-43 in their recent league bout against George Ranch (Richmond, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Saturday, January 28. Ridge Point will attempt to upgrade on its 13-12 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 54-44 league win over Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX).
