Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Leading Edge Academy - GEC Spartans (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Sequoia Charter Stallions (Mesa, AZ), saw Leading Edge Academy - GEC's basketball squad wallop Sequoia Charter by a count of 77-37.

With the victory, Leading Edge Academy - GEC upgrades its record to 22-5 on the campaign. The Spartans host San Carlos (San Carlos, AZ) to play the Braves in a 2A Valley challenge on Friday, January 27. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 11-13. San Carlos lost 57-37 in their recent league challenge against Arete Prep (Gilbert, AZ)
