New Mexico High School Basketball - Pojoaque Valley can't hold off St. Michael's
January 25, 2023: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The St. Michael's Horsemen basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 54 in the Horsemen non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Horsemen now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Robertson for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. St. Michael's will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 43-20 non-league win over West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-1.
The Elks/Elkettes (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM). The Pintos enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Moriarty was nudged by Taos (Taos, NM), 30-25, in a non-league contest.
