California High School Basketball - Highland overwhelms Coast Union
January 25, 2024: Bakersfield, CA 93306 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Highland Scots (Bakersfield, CA) and the visiting Coast Union Broncos (Cambria, CA), saw Highland's basketball squad wallop Coast Union by a tally of 56-21.
With the victory, Highland improves its record to 17-5 on the campaign. The Scots host Independence (Bakersfield, CA) to confront the Falcons in a South Yosemite - Valley challenge on Friday, January 26. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Independence lost 55-40 in their recent league challenge against Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA)
Next up, the Broncos confront the Shandon Outlaws (Shandon, CA) in a Coast Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Coast Union will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record.
