January 25, 2024: Gibson, GA 30810 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) and the host Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA), saw Savannah Christian's basketball squad wallop Glascock County by a tally of 72-28.
With the victory, Savannah Christian improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Raiders host Beach (Savannah, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Beach lost 65-53 in their recent league challenge against Groves (Garden City, GA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) in a A D2 Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Glascock County will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 43-41 league loss to Hancock Central (Sparta, GA).
