The Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) basketball knocked off the host Menchville Monarchs (Newport News, VA), 72-62 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (7-7) will now prepare for their test against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 4-11 record. In their last test, West Springfield went down by Lake Braddock (Burke, VA), 61-56, in a league test.
