Virginia High School Basketball - Kellam fells Norfolk Academy
January 25, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23456 Kellam Knights (Virginia Beach, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 59-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kellam upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Knights host Menchville (Newport News, VA) to clash with the Monarchs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Menchville lost 72-62 in their recent league bout against Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a Tidewater Independent bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Norfolk Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Ambassadors go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 55-27 non-league win over TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA).
