The Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Twin River Titans to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oakland-Craig for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Lyons-Decatur Northeast will meet a Knights team coming off a 56-49 non-league loss to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Knights record now stands at 8-7.
