Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Miami Stingarees (Miami, FL) and the host Norland Vikings (Miami, FL), saw Miami's basketball squad hold off Norland by a tally of 57-50.

With the victory, Miami improves its record to 18-5 on the campaign. The Stingarees host Mater Lakes Academy (Miami, FL) to play the Bears in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 14-7.

Next up, the Vikings play the Booker T. Washington Tornadoes (Miami, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Norland will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Tornadoes come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 82-33 non-league win over Killian (Miami, FL).
