New Jersey High School Basketball - Piscataway tops Trenton Central
January 25, 2024: Piscataway, NJ 08854 Piscataway Chiefs (Piscataway, NJ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ), 76-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Piscataway upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Plainfield won 58-48 in their recent league bout against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the Notre Dame Irish (Lawrenceville, NJ) in a Colonial Valley bout, on Friday, January 26. Trenton Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Irish come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 61-44 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro South (Princeton Junction, NJ).
