Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), 47-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Unionville upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Longhorns host East (West Chester, PA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Patriots play the Coatesville Red Raiders (Coatesville, PA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Great Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
