Connecticut High School Basketball - Bassick crushes Wolcott RVT
January 25, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06605 Bassick Lions (Bridgeport, CT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wolcott RVT Wildcats (Torrington, CT), 63-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bassick upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Lions host Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Bridgeport Central lost 57-33 in their recent league bout against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Bullard-Havens Tigers (Bridgeport, CT) in a Connecticut Technical bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Wolcott RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 63-24 league win over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT).
