The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Boulder Creek Jaguars to 38 in the Mountain Lions league victory on Thursday.

The Mountain Lions now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty for a 6A Desert Valley contest on Friday, January 26. Mountain Ridge will battle a Lions team coming off a 69-29 league loss to Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Lions record now stands at 5-14.

The Jaguars (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles come into the 6A Desert Valley contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, O'Connor was defeated by Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ), 53-48, in a league contest.
