January 25, 2024: Chalmette, LA 70043 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Chalmette Owls (Chalmette, LA) and the visiting John Ehret Patriots (Marrero, LA), saw Chalmette's basketball squad wallop John Ehret by a tally of 53-10.
With the victory, Chalmette improves its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Owls host East Jefferson (Metairie, LA) to play the Warriors in a 5A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-10.
Next up, the Patriots play the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. John Ehret will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 6-16 record after their 53-16 non-league loss to Riverdale (Jefferson, LA).
