Iowa High School Basketball - Clarinda topped by Tri-Center
January 25, 2024: Neola, IA 51559 The Tri-Center Trojans basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Clarinda Cardinals to 30 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Missouri Valley for a Western Iowa contest on Friday, January 26. Tri-Center will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 46-31 league loss to AHSTW (Avoca, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 2-12.
The Cardinals (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Tigers come into the Hawkeye Ten contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, Red Oak was defeated by AHSTW (Avoca, IA), 54-31, in a non-league contest.
