January 25, 2024: Osceola, IA 50213 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) and the visiting Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA), saw Clarke's basketball squad overcome Davis County by a tally of 72-55.
With the victory, Clarke improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Centerville (Centerville, IA) to confront the Big Reds/Redettes in a South Central challenge on Friday, January 26. The Big Reds/Redettes come into the challenge with a record of 2-14. Centerville lost 56-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Cardinal (Eldon, IA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Albia Blue Demons (Albia, IA) in a South Central challenge, on Friday, January 26. Davis County will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Blue Demons come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 44-33 league loss to Chariton (Chariton, IA).
