South Dakota High School Basketball - Elk Point-Jefferson holds off Tri-Valley
January 25, 2024: Colton, SD 57018 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies (Elk Point, SD) and the host Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD), saw Elk Point-Jefferson's basketball squad hold off Tri-Valley by a tally of 44-43.
With the victory, Elk Point-Jefferson improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Kadoka (Kadoka, SD) to confront the Kougars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Kougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Kadoka won 60-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Bison (Bison, SD)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Winner Warriors (Winner, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Tri-Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 51-37 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
